What this mod does
RTXMAP is an off-road map by ROMANRTX for anyone tired of highways. It has no asphalt: just dirt tracks, forests and mountains, at 1:10 scale. It’s a standalone map that loads in its own module, and version 1.2 is already updated for ETS2 1.61.
What you’ll find
- Off-road routes focused on the logging industry.
- Since 1.2, a new and more demanding variant of the road between Dudkino and Valerkino.
- A new loading and unloading depot.
- An office for hiring drivers.
Who it’s for
The author recommends it for convoys and for driving with friends, so it’s an option for Convoy mode. It’s also good for practicing slow driving on slopes and narrow tracks.
Installation
Copy the .scs file to the mod folder, create a new profile, add the mod and choose the rtxmap.mbd module. 1.2 for 1.61 is a port with no changes from 1.2 for 1.60, which is still available in the thread.
It’s a small, recent project: the thread has hardly any posts, and the first post doesn’t list required DLCs or the download size.

How to install it
- Open the official thread on the SCS forum and download version 1.2 for 1.61 (Modsfire).
- Copy the .scs file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Open the game and activate the mod in the Mod Manager.
- Create a new profile, add the rtxmap mod and select the rtxmap.mbd module.

Common problems
Are there paved roads?
No. According to the author there are only dirt tracks, forests and mountains.
Can it be played in Convoy?
The author presents it as a map designed for convoys and for driving with friends.
What changes in 1.2 for 1.61?
It's just a port to 1.61; the new features (Dudkino–Valerkino detour, depot and office) came with 1.2 for 1.60.
Do I need any DLC?
The first post doesn't mention any.
