What this mod does
Volvo FH3 Improved Dashboard is an interior mod by Knights Gaming that improves the trip computer on the third-generation Volvo FH (the FH16 2009) in Euro Truck Simulator 2. It’s based on Oscar’s “Volvo FH16 2009 Realistic Dashboard Computer”, whom it credits along with KnightRider and SCS.
What it changes
- Goes back to the game’s stock font.
- Low beam icon and cruise control memory icon.
- Current speed and cruise control speed on every screen.
- Estimated time of arrival, which hides if there’s no delivery or route.
- Time until your next rest, which hides if you have fatigue turned off.
- Other fixes and improvements.
Compatibility
The author recommends using it with the Volvo FH3 mod. Version 2.1, from April 14, 2026, fixed the GPS in that mod and added some FH Tuning Pack DLC parts to its interior.
Version and known issues
The author doesn’t state the game version. A user commented in November 2025 that the numbers looked cut off; version 2.1 came out the same day a user asked for fixes for 1.58 and 1.59. It’s very lightweight and doesn’t need DLC.

How to install it
- Open the mod's page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
- If you like, also subscribe to the Volvo FH3 mod the author recommends.
- Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable the mods.
- Get in your third-generation Volvo FH and switch screens on the trip computer.
