What this mod does

EU Factories by [DMI]20mmNormandy adds two old-looking placeable factories, designed for farms or maps with a traditional European setting.

What’s included

• Old dairy factory: 70,000 in the shop. Turns milk (and sugar) into butter, cheese and chocolate.
• Old grain mill: €96,000. Turns wheat, barley, oats or sorghum into flour.

What it does for your farm

Production chains are how you get more money out of what you grow or produce. With the dairy you can turn your cows’ milk into higher-value products without relying on the map’s dairy, and the mill gives you an outlet for grains that sometimes sell cheaply. The flour can then supply a bakery.

Usage tips

Place the factory near the barn or silo to cut down on trips. Remember the dairy needs sugar for chocolate, so it’s a good idea to have sugar beets or sugarcane and a refinery, or to buy the sugar. The mill accepts four different grains, which gives you flexibility for crop rotation.

This is version 1.0.0.0, unchanged since 2022. It weighs about 13 MB and works on PC and consoles.

How to install it

1. Download it from the official ModHub (link on this page) or search for "EU Factories" in the in-game Mods menu, on PC or console.
2. If you download it manually on PC/Mac, copy FS22_EUfactories.zip (do not unzip it) into the mods folder: Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2022 > mods.
3. Enable the mod when you create or load your savegame.
4. Place the factories from the construction menu, under productions, and supply them with milk or grain.
