What this mod does

KyuubiSoft Core is the base for KyuubiDDragon’s server plugins, but it also works on its own and packs a lot: custom NPCs, shops, loot bags and an admin panel for Hytale.

What’s included

NPCs with real player skins and full gear, eight movement types, chat messages, commands when you interact with the F key, and map markers. They’re managed in game with /kscitizen.
Branching dialogue with options and conditions.
Shops with custom currencies, even items like ores, daily rotation and per-player purchase limits (/ksshop).
Fixed, random or mixed loot bags, with five rarities (/kslootbags).
A /ksadmin panel and a registry of 11 event types, for other mods.

Mods that need it

KyuubiSoft Achievements, KyuubiSoft Quest System and Info Hub, by the same author. Admin commands use the kyuubisoft.admin permission.

Version

Version 2.6.5 (August 28, 2026) is for Hytale 0.6 and reduces texture atlas usage. It requires a dedicated server with Java 21 or later.

This page has been checked with Hytale 0.6 (Update 6). With Update 7 (0.7), released on October 12, 2026, the author has already published a compatible file: version 2.7.1 (October 12, 2026).

Requirements

Hytale 0.7 dedicated server (file KyuubiSoftCore-2.7.1.jar)
Java 21 or later
No dependencies
kyuubisoft.admin permission (or operator) for the admin commands

How to install it

Download KyuubiSoftCore-2.7.1.jar from the Files tab of KyuubiSoft Core on CurseForge (the file tagged 0.7), or click Install to use the CurseForge app.
For a dedicated server, stop it and copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into the server's mods folder; then start it.
For a single-player world, copy it to %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods and enable it in the world settings (right-click the world, mod list).
Log in with an account that has the kyuubisoft.admin permission and open /ksadmin; create NPCs with /kscitizen and edit shops and loot bags from their in-game editors.
