What this mod does
Quick Crafting, by Jaredlll08, does just one thing: it removes the crafting wait. Workbench recipes finish instantly, with no waiting for the progress bar.
What changes
- By default it only affects regular crafting: processes like the furnace still take the same time.
- A config option makes those processes faster too.
- If you’d rather not remove the wait entirely, another option keeps the original times and applies a speed multiplier, which can also make crafting slower.
Who it’s for
For players who build a lot and get tired of waiting at the bench, and for servers that want faster progression without touching recipes. It’s a file under 6 KB, with no dependencies and its code on GitHub, so it adds almost no overhead.
Version
Version 1.0.5 (September 1, 2026) is the port to Hytale 0.6. If you’re still on 0.5, the right version is 1.0.4. Thorium Furnaces and Item Magnet are by the same author.
This page has been checked with Hytale 0.6 (Update 6). With Update 7 (0.7), released on October 12, 2026, the mod will need an update: don’t use it in an important world until the author publishes a file tagged for the new version.
Checked on October 20, 2026: the author still hasn’t published a file tagged for Hytale 0.7 (Update 7) on CurseForge. We’ll check again and update this page as soon as it’s out.

Requirements
- Hytale (Early Access) on PC or server, version 0.6 (file QuickCrafting-1.0.5.jar)
- No dependencies
- For Hytale 0.5, the right version is 1.0.4
How to install it
- Open the Quick Crafting page on CurseForge and click Install to add it with the CurseForge app, or download QuickCrafting-1.0.5.jar from the Files tab (the file tagged 0.6).
- If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into the mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
- Open Hytale, right-click the world, check Quick Crafting in the mod list and save the world settings.
- On a dedicated server, put the file in the server's mods folder and restart it.
- If you want it to affect the furnace too, or to use a multiplier instead of instant crafting, change those options in its config file.

Common problems
Does it make the furnace instant too?
Not by default. There's a config option to make it affect processes like the furnace.
Can I speed up crafting without making it instant?
Yes. One option keeps the original times and applies a speed multiplier, which can also slow it down.
Does it work on 0.5?
1.0.5 is the port to 0.6. On 0.5, use 1.0.4.
