What this mod does
Perfect Utils is a library by ziggfreed that bundles two systems created by narwhals for Perfect Parries and Zephyr. You only need to install it when another mod asks for it: it has no commands, items or settings.
What it provides to other mods
- Stun: the creature can’t move, its attack is interrupted, it doesn’t use abilities and it shows a visual effect; when it ends, it goes back to what it was doing.
- Lose track: nearby creatures stop chasing you, although they can detect you again if you stay within their range.
- Suppression: for a while they treat you as non-hostile.
- Taunt: pulls every creature in the area toward you.
It works with any creature, bosses included, with no per-mob setup.
Who needs it
It’s required by MMO Skill Tree & Abilities and by Kweebec Nightmares. It coexists with Perfect Parries: each one keeps its own stun state.
Version
Version 1.2.0 (August 28, 2026) adapts the library to the NPC changes in Update 6 and only loads on 0.6.x servers.
This page has been reviewed for Hytale 0.7 (Update 7). With Update 7 (0.7), released October 12, 2026, the author has already published a file for the new version: 1.3.1, from October 16, 2026.

Requirements
- Hytale (Early Access), server or world on version 0.6.x (file Perfect Utils-1.3.1.jar)
- No dependencies
- A mod that uses it, such as MMO Skill Tree & Abilities
How to install it
- Open the Perfect Utils page on CurseForge and click Install to install it with the CurseForge app, or download Perfect Utils-1.3.1.jar from the Files tab (the file tagged 0.6). If you install a mod that needs it from the app, it downloads automatically.
- If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into your mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
- Also install the mod that requires it, for example MMO Skill Tree & Abilities.
- Open Hytale, right-click the world, tick Perfect Utils and the mod that uses it in the mod list, and save the world settings.
- On a dedicated server, put the files in the server's mods folder and restart it.

Common problems
Is it the same as Perfect Parries?
No. Perfect Parries is a combat mod; Perfect Utils only contains the stun and aggro control so other mods can use them. They can be installed together.
Does the lose-track ability make me invisible?
No. Creatures forget you at that moment, but if you stay within their range they can detect you again.
Does it work on Hytale 0.5?
Version 1.2.0 is limited to 0.6.x servers. For 0.5 there's 1.1.0.
