What this mod does

The Avia AE2 is a Formula Easter (F-1300) single-seater, the open-wheel class of the Eastern European countries. It was the third handbuilt formula car by Czech driver and constructor Václav Lim and won the Czech championship in 1979 and 1980. This mod is published by jurik1984, from the zizhgames team.

The car

  • 1300 cc Lada engine and four-speed Wartburg gearbox.
  • It raced in Czech Formula Easter and the Peace and Friendship Cup; it was later used in hill climbs.
  • Version 1.0.8 added an F-1600 variant.

Version and known issues

The latest update is from January 18, 2018 and fixes the force feedback, shaders, mass, aero and UI. Earlier versions fixed tires, brakes, sound and flames. Some users still see the driver’s head in first-person view, and one review criticizes the brake and gear physics. The page doesn’t specify a CSP version.
