What this mod does
The 2005 Ford Transit is Europe’s quintessential delivery van, and garyjpaterson has brought it to Assetto Corsa with commercial vehicle fans in mind. It’s one of the highest-rated car mods on OverTake, with 4.96 out of 5 from almost 150 ratings and more than 100,000 downloads.
What’s included
- Complete model with four LODs, dirt and damage.
- Interior and exterior lights and animations.
- Sound by iRacer5 and a police livery by hal4000.
- Paint templates in a separate download so you can create your own liveries.
Who it’s for
For anyone who wants something different from race cars: lapping the Nordschleife in a van, goofing around with friends or cruising mountain roads. The author suggests a 10:23 Nordschleife lap as a benchmark in the stock van, without removing weight or using slipstream.
Version
Version 1.0 came out in July 2018 and is the only release. The author warns that the AI is slow and that dirt and damage aren’t his strong suit. He asks that you don’t edit, reupload, sell or convert the mod without asking him.
Unofficial fan-made mod. Names, logos and liveries belong to their respective owners; neither the author nor Holymod is affiliated with them.
