What this mod does
The Skyline R33 is one of the Japanese icons of the nineties, and here you get it in street form, with no racing wings or tuning. The model and textures are by Ma7heus, the physics by Arch and the RB26 sound by TripledSevens. The project started years ago, stalled in 2019 and was picked back up in late 2023 with the model and physics redone.
Versions included
- 1993 GTS25t Type M (ECR33), rear-wheel drive with a 2.5-liter turbo engine.
- 1995 GT-R (BCNR33), with the ATTESA all-wheel-drive system.
- 1997 GT-R V-spec, the most refined version.
How it drives
The GT-R feels heavy and very stable, with all-wheel drive that splits torque based on grip; the GTS25t is lighter at the front and lets you play with the rear axle. They’re cars for enjoying mountain roads and Japanese circuits, or for cruising on street servers.
Before you install it
The physics use Custom Shaders Patch features: without version 0.2.8 or later the car won’t handle as it should and the game may crash. The authors warn that some animations and visual details are still unfinished, although the physics have been refined throughout 2025 and 2026.

How to install it
- Install or update Custom Shaders Patch to 0.2.8 or later from Content Manager (Settings > Custom Shaders Patch).
- Go to the Skyline R33 page on OverTake.gg and log in.
- Download the file (about 62 MB).
- Drag the file into Content Manager and click install, or copy the car folders to assettocorsa/content/cars.
- In Drive, search for Skyline R33 and pick the GTS25t, GT-R or GT-R V-spec.

Common problems
The game crashes when loading the car

Not entirely: the authors say some animations and visual details are missing, although the physics are very well developed.
The tires overheat
Some users mentioned this in earlier versions; the 2025 updates revised temperatures and slip, so always download the latest version.
