What this mod does
This add-on by Hoang Sean extends Generic Police Removal (GPR) to the Special Transport DLC jobs. On those routes, the patrols that block traffic and control intersections are no longer the generic star-livery police, but city and state patrols.
What changes
- Local and state police on Special Transport routes, blocking traffic and intersections.
- The main police escort vehicle becomes an F-150.
Requirements and load order
You need the Special Transport DLC and the GPR mod. Place this add-on above your other traffic mods, level with or above the GPR-related police mods.
When to enable it
The author recommends enabling it only while you’re doing Special Transport jobs: if you leave it on all the time, it can throw off the balance between city and state police in the rest of traffic. It’s one of the three add-ons in his “Generic Police Removal Add-Ons” collection. The page doesn’t list a game version; the latest update is from July 5, 2026 (1.60). The images are by Jerry521.

How to install it
- Open the “Generic Police Removal: Special Transport Add-On” page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
- Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish downloading the mod.
- Open your profile's Mod Manager and enable “Generic Police Removal: Special Transport Add-On”.
- Also subscribe to Generic Police Removal (GPR) if you don't have it yet.
- Place the add-on above your other traffic mods, next to or above the GPR police mods.
- Enable it only when you're going to do Special Transport jobs.
