What this mod does

Mack E7 E-TECH Engine Sound adds six-cylinder Mack engines with their own sound. It’s made by Knights Gaming, who also made a sound for the Volvo D13, and it was updated five times in its first month.

Engines by truck

Mack R Series (modded truck): E7 E-TECH engines from 400 to 460 hp and a tuned 525 hp version.
Mack Pinnacle: ASET engines from 400 to 460 hp and the 525 hp version.

Requirements

Steam marks two mods by the same author as required: Interior Soundproofing for Modded Trucks and Interior Soundproofing for SCS Trucks and Cars. Since version 1.4, cab soundproofing lives in those mods rather than in this one.

1.1 (July 29): 427 to 525 hp engines for the Mack R.
1.3 (August 18): removes support for modern trucks and adds improvements.
1.5 (August 24): support for the Mack Pinnacle.

How to install it

Open the “Mack E7 E-TECH Engine Sound” page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
Also accept the subscription to the author's two “Interior Soundproofing” mods, which Steam marks as required items.
Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish downloading the mod.
In your profile's Mod Manager, enable “Mack E7 E-TECH Engine Sound”.
Also enable the two soundproofing mods.
Go to a service shop and fit an E7 E-TECH (Mack R) or ASET (Pinnacle) engine.
