What this mod does
Traffic MX for Reforma Map is a traffic pack by Marco Mapper designed to make the roads of the Reforma map look like Mexico’s. It changes the traffic setup so US police cars, Teslas and RVs stop showing up on Mexican soil, and adds vehicles typical of the country.
What’s included
- Dedicated police cars for each state, plus ambulances and fire trucks with Mexican liveries; the federal police are removed and the police Charger is improved.
- Common cars in Mexico: Jetta, Vocho (Beetle), Golf and Amarok, plus around 50 Mexican cars added in version 4.3.
- Freightliner M2 tortons (straight trucks): Pemex tanker, soda delivery truck (5 liveries), reefer (9 liveries) and flatbed.
- Kenworth T370 dry-van torton with 14 liveries.
- Irizar i8 bus, three pickups, a bus and Nuevo León police.
- Doubles and a Mexican dry van.
Version
Version 4.4, released September 17, 2026, is the one for ATS 1.61. Version 4.3 fixed game crashes in Iowa and Illinois and console errors. Since 3.2, Mexican vehicles only spawn in Mexico.
Requirements
It’s made for Reforma, so you need that map. The page doesn’t list a load order or file size. The author asks for Patreon support to get updates earlier, but the TruckyMods download is free.

How to install it
- Install the Reforma map and Reforma Mega Resources first.
- Open the mod's page on TruckyMods and download the latest version (or use the Trucky client).
- Copy the .scs file to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- Enable the mod in the Mod Manager; the page doesn't give a specific load order.
- Drive through Mexico on the Reforma map to see the new traffic.

It's made for the Reforma map; the Mexican vehicles only spawn in Mexico.
Does it remove US police cars in Mexico?
Yes, since the second version they no longer appear on Mexican soil.
