Cherrier Vivace eHybrid – Plug-in Hybrid (P2) for BeamNG.drive

What this mod does

Cherrier Vivace eHybrid, by sprudel, adds a complete plug-in hybrid powertrain to the stock Cherrier Vivace. It’s not just a sound swap: the gasoline engine, the disconnect clutch, the electric motor and the gearbox all work as separate devices.

What’s included

• 1.6 turbo engine, K0 clutch and an 85 kW, 330 Nm electric motor with regen.
• Six-speed dual-clutch gearbox with shifts based on actual RPM.
• E-Mode, Eco, Hybrid, Charge, ePower and ESC Off modes, plus kickdown with full electric boost.
• 40-liter gasoline or diesel tank combined with 8.8, 13 or 19.7 kWh batteries.
• Digital hybrid gauge cluster with power flow, range and consumption, and an energy flow page on the center screen.
• Pedestrian warning sound, electric launch with slip control and an electric limp mode.

How to use it

Spawn the Vivace and choose the eHybrid config. In the Tuning menu, under the Hybrid category, you can adjust electric boost, regen, top speed in EV mode and sounds. The drive mode button cycles through the modes. Don’t shut off the engine manually: the hybrid controller starts and stops it.

Compatibility

It’s made for 0.39, doesn’t replace any original files and integrates with the Cherrier FCV Infotainment mod. It’s still in Alpha; 1.0.1 fixed the electric motor not starting with the ignition off.

• BeamNG.drive 0.39 or later
• Optional: Cherrier FCV Infotainment mod

How to install it

1. Open the Cherrier Vivace eHybrid page on the official BeamNG Repository.
2. Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository (Subscribe button).
3. If you download it manually, copy the .zip, without unzipping it, into the mods folder inside your BeamNG.drive user folder.
4. Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
5. Open the vehicle selector, go into the Cherrier Vivace and choose the eHybrid config.
