ETK 800-Series Improved Interior for BeamNG.drive

What this mod does

ETK 800-Series Improved Interior, by Milendur, overhauls the cabin of the game’s ETK 800 sedan. It started as a few tweaks for personal use and ended up as a full mod, with almost 87,000 downloads and a five-star average.

What it improves

• A 3D-modeled gauge cluster instead of a texture with needles.
• Trip computer with five screens (fuel consumption, range, average speed, date and blank) and trip reset.
• Since 0.7, a fuel gauge inside the speedometer and ambient lighting.
• Reworked dashboard, updated warning lights, new turn signal and wiper stalks, rearview mirror and sun visors.
• A slightly lower steering wheel so you can see the gauges better, footwell lighting and every button backlit.

How to use it

Choose the Interior Milendur part in the configurator. The B key switches screens and resets the current one if you hold it; holding Alt+B resets the trip, and you can change these keys in Controls. The cluster is positioned differently, so you may need to adjust the camera.

Before you install it

The author warns on the mod page that it isn’t updated for 0.40 yet. He recommends raising the game’s brightness to at least 1.2, because ambient occlusion darkens the cluster, and clearing the ETK 800 cache after every update.

• BeamNG.drive 0.39 (not updated for 0.40 yet, according to the author)
• About 30 MB of free space for the .zip file

How to install it

1. Open the ETK 800-Series Improved Interior page on the official BeamNG Repository.
2. Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository (Subscribe button).
3. If you download it manually, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder inside your BeamNG.drive user folder (AppData > Local > BeamNG > BeamNG.drive > current > mods).
4. Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
5. Spawn an ETK 800, choose Interior Milendur in the configurator and adjust the interior camera if needed.
