What this mod does
The GD808 JAS Hypercar is an arcade-style hypercar created by Eduard Gray. In its fictional backstory it’s designed by the GD808 studio (Gavril Design, building 808), and its initials stand for «Jet Aerodynamics and Surfacing»: the body is inspired by fighter jet aerodynamics, with side intakes, skirts and big venturi tunnels.
What’s included
- Air brakes and active wings.
- JATO rockets for extreme acceleration.
- Two off-road configurations with all-wheel drive, raised suspension, all-terrain tires and bumpers.
- Doors and steering revised in version 1.6.6 from May 2026.
Paid version
There’s a GP version on Gumroad for 3,5 €, with a JATO twice as powerful, a racing configuration with more wings and spoilers, a three-stage turbo and bigger wings. The free version works on its own.
Compatibility and reviews
The latest version is from May 2026 and doesn’t list a game version. Its rating is lower than other cars on this list (4.07): some enjoy it for the speed and the interior, while others criticize the aero and power as unrealistic. There were complaints about missing textures or sound in 2025 versions, and the author has been fixing bugs.
Tips
It’s a car for having fun on big maps and tracks, not for serious simulation. If you see missing textures, delete older versions and clear the cache.

How to install it
- Open the GD808 JAS Hypercar page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or use Subscribe from the in-game Repository.
- If you download it manually, don't unzip it: copy the .zip into the mods folder of the current version (current) inside your BeamNG.drive user folder; if the mods folder doesn't exist, create it.
- Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
- Open the vehicle selector, find the GD808 JAS and choose a configuration.

Common problems
What does the paid GP version add?
A JATO with twice the power, a racing configuration with more wings, a three-stage turbo and bigger wings; it costs 3,5 € on Gumroad.
Is it realistic?
It doesn't try to be: the author presents it as an arcade hypercar, and some users point out that the power is over the top.
Why is there a configuration I can't use?
A user mentioned that the selector showed a configuration from the paid version; update to the latest version.
