What this mod does
Rocky Coast, USA is a fictional US island, a bit larger than the official Small Island map, that packs a lot of content into a small space. Players describe it as a «mini East Coast» with a very polished finish.
What’s included
- A railroad, a race track, off-road trails and a rally stage.
- Time trials and missions, including Gambler 500-style and Pigeon Crawl ones.
- A working gas station for refueling.
- PBR materials across the whole map, terrain and roads included.
- Optimized to run smoothly even with AI traffic.
Who it’s for
It’s ideal if you want a compact map with lots of variety: road driving, getting stuck in the mud or doing quick missions. Some players count its small size as a downside, and earlier versions drew complaints about missing textures and meshes.
Version notes
January 2026 brought «The 2nd Rework» and a quick follow-up fix: the texture and mesh errors were fixed, missing vehicles came back, the sky was improved and the size dropped to less than half thanks to a new linking system. It doesn’t list a game version; at that date the current one was 0.38. The author forbids reuploading or modifying it without permission.

How to install it
- Open the Rocky Coast, USA page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository.
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder in your user folder (from the launcher: Manage User Folder > Open in Explorer).
- Launch the game, check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled and pick Rocky Coast from the map list.
- If you had an older version, delete it and clear the cache to avoid missing textures.
