What this mod does
Simple power, weight, ratio is a small, very handy UI app: it shows your vehicle’s key stats on screen so you can compare cars and builds without opening menus. Several players point out that the weight and power it shows are more reliable than the Vehicle Config menu’s.
What it shows
- Power in PS and HP, and torque in Nm and lb-ft.
- Real-time weight in kilograms and pounds, which drops as fuel is used up.
- Power-to-weight ratio in PS/kg and HP/kg.
- It also works with electric vehicles.
Configuration
When you hover over the app, a gear icon appears with the options: which stats to show, vertical or horizontal layout, units, and text color and size. By default the units follow the game’s metric or imperial setting, but you can override them. Since version 2.2, settings are saved. It’s translated into ten languages and follows the game’s language.
Compatibility
The latest version is from June 2026, during the 0.38 era. According to the author, it works in BeamMP if you have it installed on your machine. In August 2026 a user commented that the app hides while you modify the car, so it may need a tweak for the most recent game versions.
The file weighs less than 200 KB and the author publishes all their mods for free.

How to install it
- Open the Simple power, weight, ratio page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or click Subscribe to install it from the in-game Repository.
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder in your user folder (AppData > Local > BeamNG > BeamNG.drive > current > mods; the launcher opens it with Manage User Folder).
- Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
- In the game, press Esc, open UI Apps, edit the layout and add the app.
- Hover over it and click the gear icon to choose stats, layout, units and colors.

Common problems
Why does the weight drop while I drive?
Because the app calculates the real weight and subtracts the fuel you burn.
Does it work in multiplayer?
According to the author, yes in BeamMP, if you have it installed on your machine.
Can I show only some of the stats?
Yes, you choose which values are displayed from the gear icon.
