What this mod does
Glass Bounds Corrections & Fixes, by Denis, fixes a bug you notice when it rains in Euro Truck Simulator 2: the drops don’t cover the whole glass, leaving dry strips on windshields and side windows. The mod corrects those bounds so rain wets the entire surface, and it fixes missing drops on some trucks.
What it does
- Redraws all 78 window masks in the game by hand, with a graphics tablet.
- Revises more than 50 glass configurations on the stock trucks.
- Version 1.4 fixed the windshields of the Iveco Stralis Hi-Way, MAN TGX, Mercedes Actros, Renault Magnum and Premium, Scania R, Streamline and S, and Volvo FH3 to FH6, plus water coming through on the DAF XD and XF Electric.
It doesn’t change the rain, the drop textures, the weather or the sounds.
Compatibility and load order
It works with all mods. If you use Yet Another Rain Mod, by the same author, you don’t need it: it’s already included. With other rain mods you may see small glitches at the edges of the glass. Place it above rain and snow mods, and those above graphics, weather and lighting mods.
Version
It works on 1.58, 1.59, 1.60 and 1.61; 1.57 is untested. The latest update, 1.6, is from October 15, 2026.

How to install it
- Open the ETS2 "Glass Bounds Corrections & Fixes" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
- Launch Euro Truck Simulator 2 and open the Mod Manager.
- Enable the mod and place it above rain and snow mods.
- Keep graphics, weather and lighting mods below it.
- If you already use Yet Another Rain Mod, you don't need to enable it.

Do I need it if I use YARM?
No, Yet Another Rain Mod already includes these fixes, according to the author.
Does it change how the rain looks?
No: it only fixes which part of the glass gets wet.
Does it work with other rain mods?
Yes, although there may be small glitches at the edges of the glass.
