What this mod does
ETS2 Headlight Options is a mod by Eddie Yantz that adds halogen, LED and xenon headlight options to every SCS truck that has configurable headlights in the Euro Truck Simulator 2 shop. You can choose the light’s color, pattern and range.
Range options
- [L;H] (HiLo): wider, longer low beam and a longer high beam.
- [L>H] (Combd): wider, longer low and high beams.
- [H] (Hi only): stock low beam and a longer high beam.
Trucks not included
SCS trucks without headlight options in the shop: DAF XF and XF105, Iveco Stralis Hi-Way and Stralis, MAN TGX Euro 5, Renault Magnum and Premium, Scania R 2009 and Streamline. It doesn’t include modded trucks either, and some have no halogen option because the EU bans those bulbs.
Version
With 1.57 SCS changed the file structure and the author rebuilt the mod: now every headlight takes its colors and patterns from two folders, eyt_colors and eyt_patterns, so editing just those two changes every truck. The 1.56 version is still included. In the comments the author confirms 1.59 and 1.60; one user said they were missing textures after 1.60. Last updated: May 29, 2026.

Requirements
- Euro Truck Simulator 2
- No DLC or other mods needed
How to install it
- Open the mod page on Steam Workshop and click Subscribe.
- Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable ETS2 Headlight Options.
- Go to the service shop and, under your truck's headlights, choose the type, color and range ([L;H], [L>H] or [H]).
Common problems
Why doesn't my truck have any options?
It only works on SCS trucks with configurable headlights; modded trucks aren't included.
Can I edit the colors?
Yes: edit the eyt_colors and eyt_patterns folders and you'll change every truck at once.
Does it work on 1.60?
The author says yes.
