What this mod does
The Île-de-France Map by Georges93 recreates Paris and its surroundings at roughly 1:1 scale, with as many places as the game’s limits allow. He’s been developing it since 2022 and publishes it on TruckyMods (more than 57,000 downloads), and version 0.1.6d, from July 6, 2026, is for ETS2 1.60.
What’s on the map
- A rebuilt Boulevard Périphérique, the A3 and A4 motorways, and metro stops.
- The Rungis market, Chessy and Disneyland Paris, the Bois de Vincennes, and towns like Bagnolet, Bondy, Rosny-sous-Bois, Nogent-sur-Marne and Neuilly-Plaisance.
- Paris’s 4th, 13th and 16th arrondissements.
- Its own traffic with bikes and scooters, license plates, fines and new AI skins.
Requirements
It requires the map DLCs (Going East!, Scandinavia, Vive la France !, Italia, Beyond the Baltic Sea, Road to the Black Sea, Iberia, Greece and West Balkans, although the last one stopped being mandatory in 0.0.9b) and a powerful PC. Place it right above your graphics mods, because they can override its textures, and avoid other traffic mods.
Known issues
It doesn’t work on 1.61: the author asks players to stay on 1.60 until the fix is released. If the game crashes in some areas, raise r_buffer_page_size from 10 to 30 in config.cfg. Only the latest version is supported. Nothing is said about ProMods or fisherm’s Paris 1:1 Map.

How to install it
- Make sure you're playing on 1.60 (on Steam you can pick the previous version's beta branch).
- Download 0.1.6d from Georges93's page on TruckyMods.
- Copy the file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- In the Mod Manager, put it right above your graphics mods and disable other traffic mods.
- If the game crashes in some areas, change r_buffer_page_size from 10 to 30 in config.cfg.

Common problems
Does it work on 1.61?
No. The author warns it isn't compatible and asks you to use 1.60 until he releases the fix.
Is it a standalone map?
Yes, it recreates the Île-de-France region on top of the game's map and requires the map DLCs.
Can I use traffic mods?
The author doesn't recommend it: the map has its own traffic.
Is it compatible with ProMods?
The mod's page doesn't say.
