What this mod does
This patch by Erbkaiser brings together two of the most popular traffic mods for Euro Truck Simulator 2: Real Traffic Density (RTD), by Cipus, and the Jazzycat/TrafficMan vehicle packs. Without it, RTD treats those vehicles as regular cars; with the patch, each one shows up as what it really is.
What it does
- Reclassifies the BDF trucks, motorcycles, classic cars and sports cars from the packs so RTD handles them according to their real type.
- Lets all of them, except motorcycles, also appear parked.
- Vehicles from packs you don’t have installed are simply ignored.
Requirements and version
It needs RTD: without it, none of these vehicles appear. The author points out that RTD is updated with every game version. When asked about 1.61, he replied on October 9, 2026 that it still works and will only stop working if Jazzycat/TrafficMan change their packs.
Load order
Put it above all traffic packs and below RTD. If you use mods that also change these vehicles, such as Egon’s Real Spawn series, place them above the patch and below RTD.
Known issues
If you’re missing any of the packs, the game log will show missing file errors. That’s normal and can cause a slight stutter; you can ignore it, install the packs or remove the patch.

Requirements
- Euro Truck Simulator 2 updated to version 1.61

- Jazzycat/TrafficMan traffic packs (whichever ones you want to use)
- No DLC needed
How to install it
- Subscribe to Real Traffic Density ETS2 on Steam Workshop.
- Open the patch's page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
- Install the Jazzycat/TrafficMan traffic packs you want to use.
- Launch ETS2 and open the Mod Manager.
- Place the patch above all traffic packs and below Real Traffic Density.
- Load your save.
Common problems
Does it work without Real Traffic Density?
No: without RTD none of these vehicles appear.
Do I need all the Jazzycat packs?
No. Missing ones are ignored, although the log will show file errors.
Does it work on 1.61?
Yes, the author confirmed it in the comments on October 9, 2026.
