What this mod does
Volvo FH6 Dashboard Enhancements is a mod by chuan that improves the cluster and interior of SCS’s Volvo FH6 in Euro Truck Simulator 2, with more indicators and details inspired by the real truck. The author says the changes follow his personal taste, while aiming for the most faithful layout possible.
What it changes
- Halo lighting: turn signals in green and warnings in yellow and red.
- Indicators for truck and trailer lift axles, differential lock and retarder level.
- A standard drive mode icon instead of Eco, a new cruise control icon and overspeed tolerance.
- Adaptive cruise control (ACC) distance icon, also on the steering wheel, and blind spot warnings.
- Navigation with a new background color, arrival time in the bottom left and a new trip info page.
Known issues
In retarder position 0 the truck brakes slightly. The author explains that the real FH has six positions (A, 0, 1, 2, 3 and B) and the game only four, so A and 0 can’t both be represented; he says he’ll try to fix that braking.
Version
It was released on October 22, 2026, with 1.61 already out, but the page doesn’t list the game version. You need the Volvo FH6 (Volvo FH Series 6 DLC).

How to install it
- Open the mod page on Steam Workshop and click Subscribe.
- Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable Volvo FH6 Dashboard Enhancements.
- Drive a Volvo FH6 and flip through the pages on the center screen to see the new info.
Common problems
Does it work on the FH5?
The author doesn't say; it's made for the FH6.
The retarder brakes in position 0
It's a known limitation: the game has fewer positions than the real truck, and the author will try to fix it.
What's the trip page?
A new navigation page with info about your route.
