What this mod does
Castile And Leon: New Horizon is a map by a Spanish studio that recreates a Castilian village with streets, squares, bars, shops, pedestrians and traffic. It’s one of the few large ModHub maps with a Spanish setting, and its texts are translated into Spanish.
What you’ll find
- 84 fields and 34 crops, with additions like rye, peas, alfalfa or teff.
- Fruit trees you can grow: apple, orange, cherry, plum, pear, lemon, pomegranate, peach, quince, almond, walnut, chestnut and oak.
- Greenhouses for vegetables and herbs (cauliflower, carrot, garlic, pepper, cucumber, spring onion, zucchini, mint, lavender) that use compost, water and organic herbicide.
- Aquaculture of trout, salmon and sturgeon, with roe production.
- Two industrial parks with 25 production businesses you can buy, from juices and jams to perfumes.
Who it’s for
For players who want a recognizable setting, with Mediterranean crops and plenty of room to build production chains. The most expensive factories cost over a million, so there’s a lot to keep long playthroughs going.
Version notes
Version 1.0.0.6 fixes the sawmill. The map already registers 245 items, so it only supports mods or DLC that add at most 9 new crops or 9 new productions; if you go over, you may get errors on load.

- About 900 MB of free space
- Don't combine it with mods or DLC that add more than 9 new crops or 9 new productions
How to install it
- On PC, open the map's page on the GIANTS ModHub and download the ZIP (FS22_cyl.zip).
- Copy the file without unzipping it into Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\mods.
- On console or from within the game, go to Downloadable Content > Mods, search for Castile And Leon and download it.
- Disable mods that add lots of crops or productions before starting.
- Create a new savegame and choose Castile And Leon: New Horizon as the map.

Why does it throw errors with other crop mods?
The map is already at the limit of registered types; it only supports up to 9 extra crops or 9 extra productions from other mods or DLC.
