What this mod does
Essentials Plus is the other big «essentials» option for Hytale servers: more than 90 commands, all with aliases and permission nodes.
Main features
- Teleportation: homes with a menu, warps, per-world spawn, /tpa, safe random teleport and a /back that tells apart death, portal, bed or disconnect.
- Economy: balance, payments, leaderboard and an admin shop with buy and sell prices.
- Moderation: temporary mutes and bans, IP bans, freeze, vanish and AFK kick.
- Scheduled announcements in chat, as a title or in the action bar.
- Square or round world border, with chunk pregeneration.
Configuration
Each module (homes, warps, kits, economy, mail) is turned on or off in config.json, where you can also create your own commands. Messages are translatable and it detects each player’s language, although it only ships with English and German. It imports data from EliteEssentials, Hyssentials, EssentialsCore, HomesPlus and others.
Version 1.20.0 (August 27, 2026) only works with Hytale 0.6.0 or 0.6.1; for 0.5 you have to stay on 1.19.x.
This mod page was checked with Hytale 0.6 (Update 6). With Update 7 (0.7), released on October 12, 2026, the author has already released a compatible file: version 1.21.0 (October 12, 2026).

Requirements
- Hytale 0.7.0 or 0.6.1 server (file EssentialsPlus-1.21.0.jar)
- No required dependencies
- Optional: VaultUnlocked to share the economy and PlaceholderAPI for placeholders
How to install it
- Download EssentialsPlus-1.21.0.jar from the Files tab of Essentials Plus on CurseForge (the file tagged 0.7).
- For a dedicated server, stop it and copy the .jar as is, without unzipping it, into the server's mods folder.
- Start the server once so the mod's config folder is generated, and review its .json files.
- To test it in a single-player world, copy it into %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods and enable it in the world settings (right-click the world).
- Turn off the modules you won't use in config.json and assign permissions to each group; by default, admin commands are operator-only.

Common problems
How is it different from EliteEssentials?
They cover almost the same ground. Essentials Plus adds an admin shop, a world border with pregeneration and scheduled announcements; EliteEssentials has an admin panel and more database options.
Can I use it in Spanish?
Yes, every message is translatable and the mod detects each player's language, but it only ships with English and German: you have to do the translation yourself.
Does it work with Hytale 0.5?
No, 1.20.0 requires 0.6. For a 0.5 server, use 1.19.3 from the file list.
Will updating to 1.20.0 change my configuration?
No. The author says commands, permissions and configuration don't change.
