What this mod does

Hayato’s Crystal Sword (Crystalia in-game) is hayato_kun_ofc’s first mod: a single crystal sword designed to fit Hytale’s style and balance without breaking progression.

What it offers

Pixel art design in the style of the base game.
The blade gives off light, which is handy in caves or at night.
It’s crafted at the tier 3 Blacksmith’s Anvil.
It’s a standalone item: it doesn’t add other weapons or systems.

The mithril problem

The recipe uses mithril, which according to the author can’t be found in the world yet. That’s why he recommends his other mod, Another Mithril Recipe, which lets you craft it and also shows up under CurseForge’s 0.7 filter. The page doesn’t give damage or durability numbers.

With Update 7

v0.4.9, from October 12, 2026, is the version marked for 0.7, with the changelog «Updated to v0.7!». Update 7 raised the durability of base weapons and made swords attack around 15% faster; the author doesn’t say whether Crystalia follows those numbers. If you like themed weapons, also check out Keb’s Katanas or Wan’s Wonder Weapons, which are much bigger. The same author made the horror mod X-17: The Nightmare.

How to install it

Open the Hayato's Crystal Sword page on CurseForge and click Install to set it up with the CurseForge app, or download CrystaliaSword_v0.4.9.zip from the Files tab (the file marked 0.7).
If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into the mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
Open Hytale, right-click the world, check Hayato's Crystal Sword in the mod list and save the world settings.
On a dedicated server, put the file in the server's mods folder and restart it.
Also install Another Mithril Recipe if you have no way to get mithril, and craft the sword at the tier 3 Blacksmith's Anvil.
