What this mod does
MMO Skill Tree Mastery Pack is the official masteries and currencies pack for MMO Skill Tree, ziggfreed’s RPG-style skill system. It doesn’t work on its own: it expands that mod with a long-term progression layer for when you’ve already leveled up your skills.
Masteries
- Combat: swords, daggers, polearms, staffs, axes, blunt weapons, unarmed, archery, magic, artillery and defense.
- Abilities: fireball, meteor, whirlwind, piercing shot, shield bash and shadow step.
- Gathering: mining, woodcutting and harvesting.
- Since 2.0.0, seven damage schools (fire, ice, lightning, water, arcane, void and poison) with combat level requirements.
Currencies, quests and achievements
Mastery points are earned every 15 levels of any skill and can’t be lost or traded. The game’s life essence works as a second, tradable currency. There are quests (gathering essence, leveling skills or a repeatable daily for the endgame), six achievements and a mastery trainer with dialogue and daily quests. With the Bounty Board Pack you can buy points with Bounty Tokens.
Version
2.0.1 (September 12, 2026) adds icons for each damage school and images in quests. It’s translated into nine languages, including Spanish.
Checked on October 20, 2026: the author hasn’t published a file marked for Hytale 0.7 (Update 7) on CurseForge yet. The most recent version is 2.1.0 (October 9, 2026), for 0.6. We’ll check again and update this page as soon as it’s out.

Requirements
- Hytale (Early Access) on PC, version 0.6 (file MMOSkillMasteryPack-2.0.1.zip)
- MMO Skill Tree & Abilities 1.6.1 or later (required)
- Ziggfreed's CommonLib 2.1.0 or later (required)
- Optional: MMO Skill Tree Bounty Board Pack for the points shop
How to install it
- Open the MMO Skill Tree Mastery Pack page on CurseForge and click Install to install it with the CurseForge app, or download MMOSkillMasteryPack-2.0.1.zip from the Files tab.
- If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into the mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
- Also install MMO Skill Tree & Abilities (1.6.1 or later) and Ziggfreed's CommonLib (2.1.0 or later) from their CurseForge pages.
- Open Hytale, right-click the world, check MMO Skill Tree Mastery Pack in the mod list and save the world settings.
- On a dedicated server, place the file in the server's mods folder and restart it.
- Enable all three mods in the world. The pack doesn't require updating the plugin: it just needs to sit next to it in the mods folder.

Common problems
Does it work without MMO Skill Tree?
No. It's a content pack for that mod and it also needs Ziggfreed's CommonLib in the versions listed.
Will I lose what I'd already bought when updating to 2.0?
No. The author says the nodes, prices and bonuses of the old masteries are kept intact.
Is it available in Spanish?
Yes, all of the pack's text comes in nine languages, including Spanish.
