Crops Anytime Anywhere for Stardew Valley

What this mod does

Crops Anytime Anywhere, by Pathoschild, removes two base-game limits: crop seasons and the places where you can plant. With it you can grow strawberries in winter or plant fruit trees in town.

What it changes

• Crops and fruit trees grow in any season and any location.
• You can also till grass tiles or ground that normally doesn’t allow it.
• The config (optional and documented on GitHub) lets you limit seasons, locations and tile types.
• Shops don’t change: each seed is still sold only in its usual season.

It pairs well with Winter Grass, which makes grass grow in every season.

Requirements and compatibility

It only requires SMAPI 4.1.10 or later. Version 1.7.3 (March 15, 2026, 105 KB) requires Stardew Valley 1.6.15 or later and works on Windows, macOS and Linux, in single player and multiplayer; in multiplayer only the host needs to install it. It has no known conflicts, and Nexus tags it with Spanish among many languages.

Nexus also classifies it as «Cheating,» because it changes the farm’s balance a lot: if you want a challenge, use the config to limit it, for example to certain locations only.

Requirements

• Stardew Valley 1.6.15 or later (PC)
• SMAPI 4.1.10 or later

How to install it

1. Install SMAPI first (see its page) and launch the game once with it to make sure it works.
2. Open the Crops Anytime Anywhere page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file (Crops Anytime Anywhere 1.7.3). You need a free Nexus account to download.
3. Unzip the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folder into the Mods folder, inside the game folder.
4. Launch the game with SMAPI and try planting a seed out of season: it will grow normally.
