Central Station for Stardew Valley

What this mod does

Central Station is a mod by Pathoschild, the author of SMAPI, that organizes travel between maps from different mods. It adds ticket machines from which you travel by boat, bus or train to the destinations other mods register.

What it adds

• A free ticket to Central Station itself, a new area with food stalls, a gift shop, tourists and bookshelves.
• Travel-themed decor you can buy there.
• A system that lets mod authors add destinations with an optional price, ticket machines and their own content.
• Stops from the old Bus Locations and Train Station mods also show up in its menus.

Requirements and compatibility

It only requires SMAPI 4.3.1 or later. Version 1.7.0 (March 15, 2026, 290 KB) requires Stardew Valley 1.6.15 or later and works on Windows, macOS and Linux, in single player and multiplayer, with no known conflicts. It pairs well with expansions like Ridgeside Village or Sunberry Village if those versions register their destinations.

Heads-up: if you uninstall the mod after buying decor, those items turn into error items. There are community translations into Ukrainian, Vietnamese and Russian.

• Stardew Valley 1.6.15 or later (PC)
• SMAPI 4.3.1 or later

How to install it

1. Install SMAPI first (see its page) and launch the game once with it to make sure it works.
2. Open the Central Station page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file (Central Station 1.7.0). You need a free Nexus account to download.
3. Unzip the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folder into the Mods folder, inside the game folder.
4. Launch the game with SMAPI and look for the ticket machines at the valley's transport points (bus, train or boat).
