Sunberry Village for Stardew Valley

What this mod does

Sunberry Village, by skellady and sophiesalacia, is one of the most recent large expansions: it was released in March 2025 and adds an entire village south of Pelican Town, with its own people, stories and places to explore.

What it adds

• More than 15 new NPCs and more than 80 events, with characters you can build relationships with.
• A new village, an extra farm space, multi-level mines and biomes with new monsters, and secret areas in the forest.
• Shops: flower seeds, a general store with seeds and trees, a blacksmith and weaponsmith, a clothing store and a cat café.
• Its own special orders board, a museum and new items: food, drinks, fish, crops, weapons, minerals, machines and artisan goods.

Requirements and compatibility

It requires SMAPI, Content Patcher, Custom Companions, Farm Type Manager, HxW Tilesheets, Item Extensions and Lumisteria Tilesheets – Indoor. Version 1.1.2 (December 2, 2025, 13.8 MB) needs Stardew Valley 1.6.15 or later and doesn’t work on mobile.

The authors say it should be compatible with everything and mention SVE, Ridgeside Village, East Scarp and Visit Mount Vapius. When updating, you need to delete the previous version before copying the new one. It has a Spanish translation published separately on Nexus.

How to install it

1. Install SMAPI first (see its mod page) and launch the game once with it to make sure it works.
2. Install the requirements: Content Patcher, Custom Companions, Farm Type Manager, HxW Tilesheets, Item Extensions and Lumisteria Tilesheets - Indoor (all on Nexus).
3. Open the Sunberry Village page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file (Sunberry Village 1.1.2). You need a free Nexus account to download.
4. If you're updating, delete the previous version's folder first (the authors ask you not to overwrite it). Extract the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folder into the Mods folder, inside the game folder.
5. If you want to play in Spanish, also install the translation from Nexus following its instructions and check that it matches your version.
6. Launch the game with SMAPI and check that there are no red errors in the console.
