East Scarp for Stardew Valley

What this mod does

East Scarp (now East Scarp Remastered), by LemurKat and a large group of contributors, is a town expansion with its own NPCs, several of them marriageable, more than 100 events, special orders, animals, crops, recipes, fish and forageables. Version 3.0 remade the mod and added characters like Dale, Edith, Jade or Jasper, and areas like Deep Mountains, Lore’s Cove or the Scarp Crossing bus stop.

Requirements

SMAPI, Content Patcher, Farm Type Manager, SpaceCore, Mapping Extensions and Extra Properties (MEEP), HxW Tilesheets and Lumisteria Tilesheets (Indoor and Outdoor). That’s a lot: make sure you have them all before launching.

Compatibility

• Version 3.0.9 (May 30, 2026, 38.9 MB), updated for Stardew Valley 1.6.9 or later.
• Compatible with SVE and Ridgeside Village, among other expansions; probably not with Seven Deadly Sins or Uncanny Valley.
• Android: the page warns that it probably doesn’t work 100%; there’s an optional, experimental patch for a map error.
• If you use the Nora, Rodney, Fivel or Lavril mods, install the optional Compatibility Fixes file.

If you prefer the previous version, there’s East Scarp 2.0 Legacy (2.4.22). Sword and Sorcery is built on top of it. Spanish comes separately: Nexus links translations by mardrest and by Hezron.

• HxW Tilesheets, Lumisteria Tilesheets - Indoor and Lumisteria Tilesheets - Outdoor
• In multiplayer, all players with East Scarp

How to install it

1. Install SMAPI first (see its mod page) and launch the game once with it to make sure it works.
2. Install all its requirements: Content Patcher, Farm Type Manager, SpaceCore, MEEP, HxW Tilesheets and both Lumisteria Tilesheets (Indoor and Outdoor). The Requirements tab on Nexus links each one.
3. Open the East Scarp page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file (East Scarp Remastered 3.0.9). You need a free Nexus account to download.
4. Unzip the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folder into Mods, inside the game folder (on Steam for Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods).
5. Read the installation guide in the Articles section of its page if you're coming from East Scarp 2.x. If you use the Nora, Rodney, Fivel or Lavril mods, also place Compatibility Fixes inside the East Scarp Remastered folder.
6. Launch the game with SMAPI and check the console: if a requirement is missing, SMAPI will tell you which one.
