What this mod does
SpaceCore is a library by spacechase0 that other mods use for features the base game doesn’t offer. According to its page, more than 780 mods use it, including Ridgeside Village, East Scarp and Sword and Sorcery.
What you need to do
Just install it. It has no player options and adds no content on its own: as long as it’s in the Mods folder, the mods that need it will work. Its features for content pack creators are documented on its GitHub.
Compatibility
- Version 1.28.4 (October 19, 2025), built for Stardew Valley 1.6.14; the page lists 1.6.15 or later on Windows, macOS and Linux.
- In multiplayer, every player must have it installed.
- Requires SMAPI (the latest version).
- The page doesn’t mention Android.
Version 1.28.4 fixed custom crafting recipes, which had been broken since 1.28.1, and the name of custom skills in buffs; if a mod with its own recipes gives you trouble, make sure you don’t have an older version. Nexus links Spanish (Spain) translations: one by Gonzy42 updated for 1.28.4 and another by ManoloHD for 1.26.2.
