What this mod does
Cauldron is the base mod for Wildflour’s Atelier Goods (WAG), Wildflour’s collection that adds bakery, café, brewery, confectionery and other artisan goods. It was created by Kedi, sophiesalacia and Wildflour, and it brings together in one place the config and logic shared by all the WAG packs.
What it controls
- Global options: wild food, mixed seeds, crafting difficulty (simple or advanced), easy recipes, exclusion from perfection and forage categories.
- Machine styles and colors, special orders and secret forage locations.
- Per-category options: baker, barista, boutique, brewer, confectioner and gourmet.
- A compatibility option for Vanilla Tweaks.
Requirements and warnings
It requires SMAPI and Content Patcher, and is configured with Generic Mod Config Menu, which is highly recommended. On its own it adds no content: you install it together with WAG. Version 2.2.1 (June 30, 2025, 36 KB) adds options for Lani’s Better Farm Cave Forage. After every update the config resets to its default values.
Warnings from the page: turning off wild food mid-save leaves harmless error items, easy recipes can’t be turned off once enabled, and you shouldn’t delete the English translation file. There are translations into Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese and French.

Requirements

How to install it
- Install SMAPI first (see its page) and launch the game once with it to make sure it works.
- Also install Content Patcher and Generic Mod Config Menu, and download Wildflour's Atelier Goods, the content that works with this core.
- Open the Cauldron page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file (Cauldron 2.2.1). You need a free Nexus account to download.
- Unzip the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folder into the Mods folder, inside the game folder.
- Launch the game with SMAPI and review the Cauldron options in the mod menu; do it again after every update, because the config resets.

Common problems
Does it add anything on its own?
No. It's the core of Wildflour's Atelier Goods and is installed together with that content.
Why did my config change?
When Cauldron updates, the config resets to its default values; the author reminds you to set it up again.
Can I turn off easy recipes later?
No. According to the page, once enabled they can't be turned off.
