Sword and Sorcery for Stardew Valley

What this mod does

Sword and Sorcery, by DestyNova, is a fantasy expansion for East Scarp inspired by tabletop role-playing games. It adds characters, five new skills with spells and a dungeon with a final boss.

Content

• Three romance candidates (Mateo, Hector and Cirrus) with more than 15 events each, other NPCs to befriend (Roslin and Dandelion) and one who’s not sociable at all (Solomon).
• New skills: Artificer, Druid, Bard, Sorcerer and Paladin, each with its own gameplay and spells.
• The Deep Dark: a 30-floor dungeon with a final boss, plus its own forageables, minerals, tools and monsters.
• Items, weapons, crops, recipes, machines, maps, fish and an in-game guide.

Requirements

SMAPI, Content Patcher, East Scarp, SpaceCore, MEEP and Lumisteria Tilesheets (Indoor and Outdoor). Trinket Tinker is optional and adds extra content.

Compatibility

Version 2.3.10 (December 5, 2025, 68.4 MB) is marked as compatible with 1.6 and, according to the author, works with SVE and Ridgeside Village. In multiplayer, the Duskspire boss fight is locked so only one player can take it on at a time. It might work on Android, but that’s not confirmed. PolyamorySweet tends to cause problems with its romances. Nexus links the Spanish translation Espadas y Hechicería, by mardrest.

Requirements

• East Scarp and all its requirements
• SpaceCore, MEEP and Lumisteria Tilesheets (Indoor and Outdoor)
• Optional: Trinket Tinker
• In multiplayer, all players with the mod

How to install it

1. Install SMAPI first (see its mod page) and launch the game once with it to make sure it works.
2. Install East Scarp first with all its requirements (see its mod page) and make sure it works.
3. Open the Sword and Sorcery page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file (Sword and Sorcery for East Scarp Remastered 2.3.10). You need a free Nexus account to download.
4. Unzip the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folder into Mods, inside the game folder (on Steam for Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods).
5. Optional: install Trinket Tinker for the additional content.
6. Launch the game with SMAPI and check the console: if a requirement is missing, SMAPI will tell you which one.
