What this mod does
3D Map is an app by Tsuka1427, the same author as Drone Camera, that shows a three-dimensional map of the track instead of the usual flat one. That way you can see the elevation changes and the real shape of each section, which is really useful for learning tracks with lots of climbs and drops.
How it works
- It builds the map automatically from the left and right track edges stored in the fast_lane.ai file.
- That’s why it works on any track, official or mod, that has the AI line set up.
- It includes a config tool to adjust the look and quality.
- Cars tagged Traffic are left off the map since version 1.1.5, handy on servers with traffic.
Performance
Version 1.1.5 (January 2022) improved performance by using the NumPy library. Even so, some users notice FPS drops, especially with modest CPUs; the author recommends trying the low quality setting.
Versions
1.1.2 fixed a mismatch between the drawn nodes and the real ones, and a minor update fixed a case where the app wouldn’t load. There’s more info and screenshots on the Assetto Corsa Japan LABS page linked from the mod page.

Requirements
- Assetto Corsa for PC

- Free OverTake.gg account to download
How to install it
- Go to 3D Map's page on OverTake.gg and log in.
- Download the file (about 4 MB).
- Drag it into Content Manager or copy its contents into the main Assetto Corsa folder.
- Enable the app in the game's or Content Manager's app settings.
- Adjust the quality with the included config tool.
- On track, open 3D Map from the sidebar.

Common problems
The map doesn't show up on a track
The track needs an AI line (fast_lane.ai) for the app to build the map.
My FPS drops
Try the low quality setting, as the author recommends.
Does it show traffic cars?
No; since 1.1.5, cars tagged Traffic are excluded.
