Fantasy Formula E for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

Fantasy Formula E is an imaginary electric single-seater created by rambokim for Assetto Corsa. It doesn’t recreate any real car: it’s an original concept that blends Formula 1 and Formula E styling and allows solutions the real rulebook bans.

What it’s like

• Open-wheel single-seater with ground effect and fans to generate downforce, as users describe it.
• Animated rear wing, updated in version 1.1.
• Optional halo (it can be hidden) and a dashboard camera since version 1.2.
• Version 2.0 adds a steering wheel inspired by Formula E Gen 4 and new data.

Driving

Comments describe it as fun but demanding at first: it has huge amounts of power and grip, so it’s best to take it easy at the start and only turn off traction control once you’ve got the hang of it.

Requirements and known issues

The author doesn’t list requirements on the page, but for crashes when selecting the car he recommends checking that you have Custom Shaders Patch installed. If the car doesn’t move off the line or spins out of control, the author advises disabling CSP’s extended physics. Version 2.0 was released on July 18, 2026, and the file is only about 34 MB.

How to install it

1. Open the mod page on OverTake.gg and log in.
2. Download the file.
3. Drag it into Content Manager or copy the folder to assettocorsa/content/cars.
4. Check that you have Custom Shaders Patch installed.
5. If the car just sits there spinning its wheels at the start, disable CSP's extended physics.
