Auto Union Type C 1937 for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

The Auto Union Type C was one of the most extreme Grand Prix cars of the 1930s, with the engine behind the driver. Gary Paterson, author of other mods such as the Ligier JS8 and the Dallara FX/17, released it for Assetto Corsa as a Christmas gift in 2019.

What it offers

Driving

Version

Version 0.5, from December 24, 2019, is the only one released. The author himself warns that the car is still very much in development and that the version number reflects that. Even so, it’s one of the highest-rated cars on OverTake.gg, with 4.98 out of 5 from 83 reviews. The page doesn’t specify a CSP version.

How to install it

1. Open the mod page on OverTake.gg and log in.
2. Download the file (the livery templates are linked separately).
3. Drag it into Content Manager or copy the folder to assettocorsa/content/cars.
4. Head out on a classic track and go easy on the throttle: the car is very demanding.
