Williams FW37 2015 (VRC) for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

The Williams FW37 is Williams’ hybrid car from the 2015 Formula 1 season. This mod by the VRC Modding Team, published by MHS, picks up the project started by FormulaCorsa and F1SR; in the thread, VRC thanks Acestumacher and Chargingcar for letting them continue it.

What’s included

• Physics and sounds built from scratch, according to the team.
• Lots of graphics and animation bugs fixed for the Assetto Corsa version of the time.
• Livery painting templates.

Credits

Physics by misterbeam, sounds by IMrIMike, and animations, textures and suits by mati.sala90, with additional textures by chargingcar. The original model is by F1SR and chargingcar, and the liveries by FormulaCorsa. In the thread, the sound author explains he protected the sounds because another F1 mod used and charged for his earlier sounds without permission.

Version and reviews

Version 1.2 was released on March 22, 2017. Most reviews are five stars; the more critical ones mention the force feedback, the camber adjustment steps and the tire physics. The page doesn’t specify a CSP version.

How to install it

1. Open the mod page on OverTake.gg and log in.
2. Download the file.
3. Drag it into Content Manager or copy the folder to assettocorsa/content/cars.
4. Search for "FW37" in Content Manager and hit the track.
