What this mod does
The Gunma Cycle Sports Center, known in sims as Gunsai Touge, is the Japanese mountain course where Best Motoring magazine filmed its Hot Version tests. antudusun, from Project Kaido, rebuilt it from scratch for Assetto Corsa, and today it’s one of the most downloaded mod tracks on OverTake, with almost 300,000 downloads.
What’s included
- The touge route and the Gunma Cycle Sports Center circuit layout, plus a variant for Hot Version qualifying sessions.
- Season switching: summer, fall and winter.
- Support for Custom Shaders Patch rain.
- Optional replay cameras for CamTool2.
Who it’s for
A narrow road that’s fast in places and very technical in others: it works both for touge drifting and for testing a street car’s setup. It’s the classic spot for the AE86 and other lightweight Japanese cars.
Version
Version 1.2, from March 2021, added the seasons and rain; you need to delete 1.1 before installing it. Some players get crashes when loading the track; the most common fix is installing it manually instead of with the automatic installer.

Requirements

How to install it
- If you had version 1.1, delete the pk_gunma_cycle_sports_center folder from assettocorsa/content/tracks.
- Go to the track's page on OverTake.gg, sign in and download 1.2 (about 194 MB).
- Extract the file and copy the pk_gunma_cycle_sports_center folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks.
- Open Content Manager and find Gunma Cycle Sports Center in the track list.
- Pick the touge or circuit layout and a lightweight rear-wheel-drive car.

Common problems
The game crashes when loading the track
Several users fixed it by installing it manually in content/tracks instead of dragging it into Content Manager.
Is it the same Gunsai Touge from 2014?
No. That one was a conversion by another author; this is a new version built from scratch by Project Kaido.
It stutters in some areas
Some reviews mention it; lowering vegetation quality helps.
