What this mod does

Adviser Top Bar is a UI mod by Distiller that rearranges the HUD: it removes the map and the new tachometer and packs the information into a bar at the top of the screen.

What the bar shows

Warning lights and basic indicators: fuel, lights and turn signals.
Gear, cruise control, speed and speed limit.
In-game time and fatigue monitor.
A strip with the company name.

Version and screens

It only works on 1.59 or later; the current version, 1.61.1016, was released on October 12, 2026. It’s tested at resolutions from 1920×1080 to 7680×1440. You can turn widgets on or off and adjust transparency from the F6 key options.

Add-ons by the author

ATS HUD Mirrors Addons, for the HUD mirrors.
ATS Adviser Tachometer Addons, if you want a tachometer back.

Known issues

If you add the tachometer back on top of this mod, it covers the radio widget. The author explains that the positions are fixed and he’ll have to move one of the two in an update. Another user runs it daily without any game crashes.

If you prefer a bar at the bottom, another option is Bottom Bar for ATS.

How to install it

Open the "Adviser Top Bar NO GPS and NO Tach HUD" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish downloading the mod.
Go to your profile's Mod Manager and enable "Adviser Top Bar NO GPS and NO Tach HUD".
Disable other route advisor or HUD bar mods.
Press F6 in your save to turn widgets on or off and adjust transparency.
