ATS AI Traffic No Default SCS Buses (Kass) for American Truck Simulator

What this mod does

ATS AI Traffic No Default SCS Buses is Kass’s mod that removes the game’s stock buses from American Truck Simulator traffic. In their place you get the buses from the traffic packs and vehicle mods you have installed.

What it’s for

It’s designed for players who use traffic bus packs, such as ones based on specific routes or companies. With the SCS buses gone, the buses from those mods show up more and traffic looks more varied.

Version and requirements

Version 1.3, from September 18, 2026, works on ATS 1.61. It came out in March 2026 for 1.58 and has been updated with every version since. It doesn’t require any DLC or dependencies, and the page doesn’t specify a load order.

What to pair it with

Use it alongside a traffic bus pack; without one, you’ll see few buses or none at all. Kass also publishes versions for cars and trucks.

How to install it

1. Open the mod's page on TruckyMods and click the download button (or use the Trucky client).
2. Copy the .scs file to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
3. Launch ATS and open the Mod Manager.
4. Enable the mod along with your traffic bus pack.
5. Load your profile and look out for buses in cities and on highways.
