What this mod does

ATS XP & Economy Rebalance is the American Truck Simulator version of Kass’s mod that you know from ETS2 as XP & Economy Rebalance. It’s made for anyone who wants to drive and progress fast, without fighting deadlines, fines or loans.

What it changes

  • One-time 250,000 bonus when you create a new profile (the description gives it in euros).
  • Practically unlimited delivery deadlines.
  • XP skyrockets when you park the trailer: the author talks about going from level 0 to 42.
  • Freight market always full and 100% refund when you sell trucks.
  • Garage fuel 95% cheaper and 500 liters from emergency refueling.
  • Buy trucks online without owning one, no fines for abandoning jobs, and hired drivers who earn more.

Compatibility

Version 2.5 (September 29, 2026) is for ATS 1.61. The TruckyMods list still says «1.59», but the changelog and the thread confirm 1.61. The ATS thread doesn’t give a load order or clarify what the fuel savings apply to. Don’t combine it with realistic economy mods: they aim for the opposite.

It’s a .scs mod you enable and disable in the Mod Manager: it doesn’t edit your savegame from outside.

  1. Download 2.5 from TruckyMods or from brutaluniverse.com.
  2. Copy the .scs to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
  3. Enable it in the Mod Manager.
  4. Create a new profile if you want the starting bonus.

Common problems

Is it a save editor?

No. It's a mod that changes economy and XP values while it's enabled.

Do I get the bonus on an existing profile?

According to the author, it's a one-time bonus given when you create a new profile.

Can I combine it with a realistic economy mod?

It makes no sense: they aim for opposite effects.
