What this mod does

Discover Oregon is a map by Edward Elgar that gives you access to areas of Oregon that SCS left undefined, with new roads and companies. It’s for anyone who wants more destinations in Oregon without buying paid maps.

New areas

  • Albany
  • Baker City
  • Lowell
  • Mt. Vernon
  • Terrebonne, with a freight yard added in version 2.0

Version 2.0 also added new companies.

Compatibility

The author warns that it’s not compatible with Voith’s Oregon Expansion and that it’s meant for players who don’t use paid maps. He also says he only uploads it to TruckyMods, so any other download is a reupload.

Requirements

It requires 13 map DLCs: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Montana, Texas, Oklahoma and Nebraska. The page doesn’t give a load order.

Version

Version 3.0, released September 27, 2025, is for ATS 1.56 and only changes the manifest. The first version came out in March 2025 for 1.52 and 1.53, and 2.0 adapted it to 1.54. There’s no confirmed version for 1.61, so if you’ve already updated the game, check your log with Holyfix. It has over 12,000 downloads.

How to install it

  1. Disable Voith's Oregon Expansion if you use it.
  2. Open the mod's page on TruckyMods and download the latest version (or use the Trucky client).
  3. Copy the .scs file to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
  4. Enable it in the Mod Manager; the page doesn't give a load order.
  5. Look for the new towns in Oregon.
