What this mod does
Slav Jerry is one of the names that shows up most often in the sound credits of modded trucks. His 1967 Ford Mustang engine sounds pack brings that work to the Mustang Fastback from the Road Trip: Ford DLC.
What’s included
- Stock 289 Windsor, 225 HP, with a Magnaflow exhaust and cold start.
- Modified 289 Windsor «Race-Ready», 476 HP, with a custom exhaust.
- Ford Toploader 3- and 4-speed manual transmissions and the 5-speed Borg-Warner T5.
- Directional sound (front, rear and inside the car) and distance-based attenuation.
Cold start
The game handles it: after the first start, after sleeping or skipping time, the engine warms up at 1,050 rpm and drops to 700 once it’s warm, as the author explains.
Credits and version
Slav Jerry did the sampling, mixing and mastering; the base engine samples are from SCS Software. This is version 1.0, released on October 16, 2026. Steam doesn’t list any DLC as required, but the Mustang is only in Road Trip: Ford. One user notices the sound looping at top speed; another asks for separate settings for cars and trucks.
