What this mod does
No Limits Mod for Special Transport DLC is a mod by Frkn64 for American Truck Simulator. With it you can deliver oversize loads from the Special Transport DLC with no speed limits and no escort vehicles. It has almost 35,000 subscribers.
How it works
- Oversize loads come in two forms: with the DLC’s special routes and without them.
- Steam achievements only count on jobs with special routes.
- On Convoy, oversize jobs without special routes work.
- To make jobs without special routes show up, sleep several times in the game after installing the mod.
Requirements
You need the Special Transport DLC installed and enabled: without it, the mod does nothing. The author has another version for Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Version and issues
The page lists versions 1.50, 1.51, 1.52 and 1.53. The latest update is from September 8, 2024. In the comments, several users say it breaks on 1.60: at train stations and airports the gates block the exit. The author hasn’t replied on the page. It’s about 132 KB.

How to install it
- Open the “No Limits Mod v1.4 for Special Transport DLC” page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
- Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish the download.
- Open your profile's Mod Manager and enable the mod.
- Sleep several times in the game so the jobs without special routes show up.
