What this mod does
The Gavril Durham is a medium-duty work truck (classes 4 to 7) that combines the Gavril D-Series cab with a frame and axles derived from a van. Its design is inspired by real American medium-duty trucks, and it’s one of the best-rated truck mods on the Repository.
What’s included
- Four models: C45, C55 with a reinforced frame and axles, C60 with full-size axles and smaller wheels, and C65+ with bigger axles and wheels and industrial diesel engines.
- Engines: a 6.9 gas V8, a 6.0 turbodiesel V8, an 8.5-liter V10 derived from Gavril’s V8, a 7.8-liter aluminum V8 and a custom 7.1-liter turbodiesel inline-six, from 190 to 330 hp.
- Two generations: 1987-2000 with the D-Series interior and 2000-2006 with a dashboard derived from the H-Series.
- 19.5- and 22.5-inch steel and aluminum wheels in several colors and wear levels.
- Several configs and variants.
Compatibility
The latest version is r1.2 from May 2024; the mod page doesn’t specify a game version. Reviews from 2025 and 2026 are five stars and don’t mention any bugs.
Tips
There’s a separate official skin pack on the Repository. The author acknowledges that the frame can bend, that some details are missing in the wheel wells and that the inline-six tends to run hot.

How to install it
- Open the '87-'06 Gavril Durham page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository (Subscribe button).
- If you download it manually, don't unzip it: copy the .zip into the mods folder of the current version (current) inside your BeamNG.drive user folder; if the mods folder doesn't exist, create it.
- Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
- Open the vehicle selector, find the Gavril Durham and pick a model and config.
