There’s no BeamNG.drive for mobile. There’s no official version for Android or iPhone, it’s not on the Play Store or the App Store, and BeamNG, the studio that develops it, says so in its FAQ: it recommends not downloading any app that claims to be BeamNG.drive for Android, iOS or other platforms. Any «BeamNG Drive APK» or «BeamNG mobile» is fake. The official game is on PC (Steam, Humble and Epic Games Store) and, since October 19, 2026, on PS5, in early access. To play it legally from your phone, the option is to stream it from your PC or from the cloud with a purchased copy.

And it’s no coincidence there’s no mobile version: the soft-body physics engine calculates each vehicle’s deformation in real time, and on PC it already demands a powerful processor and plenty of memory. Why «BeamNG Drive APKs» are fake
Searching for «beamng drive apk», «beamng play store» or «beamng apk ios» brings up sites and apps promising the game on your phone. There are several kinds:
- Crash games from other studios that use BeamNG screenshots, videos or its name to drive downloads. On the official forum, the community has been calling out mobile crash games with misleading ads based on BeamNG content for years, and one of the studio’s developers even asked for help identifying them and getting them taken down.
- Fake «BeamNG.drive» apps on the Play Store: users on the official forum have warned about apps that passed themselves off as the game, were tiny downloads, showed a fake download and then asked for «human verification».
- APKs from download sites: modified copies of other games or installers with aggressive ads and a risk of malware.
One detail gives many of them away: there’s no such thing as an «APK for iOS». APK is the Android app format; on iPhone you can only install apps from the App Store. A site offering «BeamNG APK iOS» either doesn’t know what it’s selling or is scamming you.
If you installed something like that, uninstall it, run a Google Play Protect scan from the Play Store and change any passwords you typed into that app, starting with your Google and Steam accounts.
How to play BeamNG.drive on your phone legally
All of these options require owning BeamNG.drive. It’s not free and the studio says it has no plans to make it free, although it’s sometimes on sale.
Steam Link from your PC
If you already play on PC, Steam Link is Valve’s free app for Android, iPhone and iPad. It streams the game from your computer to your phone over your home network. The BeamNG.drive Steam page lists support for Remote Play on Phone and Tablet. You’ll have everything from your PC, including your mods. You’ll need:
- Your PC turned on with Steam open and BeamNG.drive installed.
- A good connection: Valve recommends an Ethernet cable or 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
- A Bluetooth controller paired with your phone. Driving with touch controls isn’t very practical.
GeForce NOW, in the cloud
If you don’t have a powerful PC, BeamNG.drive is in the official GeForce NOW catalog (Steam version), and the studio itself lists it as compatible. The game runs on NVIDIA’s servers and you see the picture on your phone:
- Android: official app, on Android 7.0 or later.
- iPhone and iPad: through the Safari browser, on iOS 15.4 or later and with a controller.
- NVIDIA recommends at least 15 Mbps for 720p at 60 FPS and 25 Mbps for 1080p.
You need to link your Steam account with the purchased game. GeForce NOW has paid plans and, depending on the region, a free tier with limitations; check the current terms on its website. Don’t count on your mods in the cloud: services like this don’t let you install files into the game.
PS5 with Remote Play (since October 2026)
If you buy the PS5 version, the official PS Remote Play app for Android and iPhone lets you play whatever your console is running on your phone. Sony warns that some games aren’t compatible with this feature, so check before counting on it. Keep in mind that the PS5 version launched without mods or VR.
Can you play BeamNG.drive for free without downloading it?
Not officially. There’s no browser version or free demo. Sites promising «play BeamNG free online» are other games or ad pages. The closest thing to «no download» is GeForce NOW, but you still need to own the game on Steam. The only legitimate free keys the studio mentions are the ones occasionally given away at community events.
