What this mod does
Hirochi Accent is a fictional compact created by mxmxrr on Cherrier’s FCV platform, the one used by the Vivace and Tograc, but as a standalone vehicle to avoid parts conflicts. According to its backstory, Hirochi and Cherrier team up to create a global compact. It’s in Beta and very ambitious.
What’s included
- Three-, four- and five-door bodies, a convertible, a wagon and a cab-chassis pickup.
- Gas boxer engines from 1.5 to 2.5 liters, naturally aspirated and turbo, a 2.0 diesel, a 2.5 six-cylinder, and 50 and 75 kWh electric versions.
- A hydrogen version with a 120 kW fuel cell.
- Hybrids with a multimode gearbox, eCVT, manual, automatic, CVT and dual-clutch.
- Over 140 configs, from fleet cars to widebody RS sports models.
- Remote key fob, automatic start-stop, pedestrian warning sound and interior screens.
Compatibility
It requires the Arcanox Core mod for the drivetrain and the eCVT. Version 1.4.0, from October 12, 2026, recalibrates the plug-in hybrids and adds dual screens to the right-hand-drive interiors. The mod page doesn’t mention Career mode or multiplayer.
Tips
The author admits to incomplete paints, unfinished parts from the upcoming Outland, and screen errors that are fixed by reloading Lua. Reviews are mixed, so it’s worth trying it with some patience.

How to install it
- Open the Hirochi Accent page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository (Subscribe button).
- Also download and install Arcanox Core from the official Repository.
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip, without unzipping it, into the mods folder inside your BeamNG.drive user folder.
- Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
- Open the vehicle selector, look for Hirochi Accent and pick a body style and config.

Common problems
Why doesn't the drivetrain work?
You need the Arcanox Core mod for the drivetrain logic and the eCVT.
The interior screens show errors, what do I do?
The author says to reload the game's Lua engine (Ctrl + R or Ctrl + L).
What is the Outland?
A crossover the author is preparing for the next big update; some unfinished parts already show up in the selector.
