What this mod does

Formula Ibishu is an entry-level open-wheel race car inspired by a popular grassroots formula series. TrackpadUser built it with a tube chassis and Ibishu four-cylinder engines, and its rating is close to 5 out of 5.

What’s included

  • Formula 1500: no aero and a smaller engine; light, with lots of mechanical grip.
  • Formula 2000: adds wings and a bigger engine, with more speed and downforce.
  • Its own racing interior.
  • JBeam built from scratch with removable panels.
  • Mechanical parts modeled with their own physics, including animated pushrod suspension.
  • New paints since version 1.2.0 from January 2026.

Requirements

It needs the free Racetec Universal Racing Parts mod by the same author, which provides the gauges and steering wheel. Without it, the car appears incomplete.

Compatibility and tips

The latest version is from January 2026 and the mod page doesn’t list a game version. Reviews highlight that it feels like real racing, and several users say they use it in multiplayer, although the author doesn’t mention it. A user commented in August 2026 that tire and impact sounds glitch after lots of crashes and repairs; if it happens to you, reload the vehicle. To start, try the 1500: the author describes it as light and with lots of grip.
