What this mod does
The 2022 Procyon Vela is a small, refined roadster from the fictional Procyon brand, built on the Hirochi CCF. It’s made for cruising rather than attacking corners and targets the compact luxury convertible segment. In its fictional backstory, it’s only sold in Asia and Europe.
What’s included
- Exterior with redesigned models and textures, plus a new interior in six colors.
- 7-speed automatic gearbox with custom logic created by DaddelZeit; there’s no manual option.
- Custom gauge and infotainment screens.
- Three wheel sets and ten Procyon-exclusive colors.
- Retractable hardtop (RF) in eight configurations, which you can also add to your own.
- Five extra Targa configurations for the CCF itself.
- Driver assists (ADAS) identical to the CCF’s.
Requirements
You need the 2020 Hirochi CCF Remaster mod, version 1.0.1 or later. CCF bugs should be reported on its own mod page, not the Vela’s. The CCF’s suspension and engine mods also apply to the Vela, except anti-roll bars and coilovers.
Release notes
Version 1.1.2, from September 2, 2026, wraps up a major overhaul released in late August. With the previous version, a user mentioned that the gearbox hesitated in the low gears. Clear the cache after installing it.

How to install it
- Open the 2022 Procyon Vela page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository (Subscribe button).
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder inside your BeamNG.drive user folder.
- Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
- Also install the 2020 Hirochi CCF Remaster, clear the cache and find the Procyon Vela in the vehicle selector.

Common problems
Does it work without the Hirochi CCF?
No, it needs the 2020 Hirochi CCF Remaster mod, version 1.0.1 or later.
Does it have a manual gearbox?
No, only the 7-speed automatic with custom logic.
Can I make a mod based on the Vela?
The author asks you to check with them first and forbids extracting files from the Vela or the CCF Targa.
