What this mod does

CarLife+ is an interior mod by SunkeyKuiYang that replaces the multimedia screen in Euro Truck Simulator 2’s modern trucks with a new system with several pages, navigation and cameras. It was released on July 8, 2026, and requires 1.60 or later.

Compatible trucks

  • Next-gen DAF and DAF XD.
  • Iveco S-Way and MAN TGX.
  • Renault T 2024.
  • Scania S and R 2025 Super.
  • Volvo FH5 and FH6.

How to use it

Bind a key to the “infotainment screen mode” to switch pages. If the info is hard to read, bind another one to interior view zoom. If it doesn’t work, raise its priority in the Mod Manager. The author warns that the speed or limit data may look odd, because the dashboard already shows that information.

Add-ons and versions

There are two optional add-ons: CarLife+ Dark Mode and CarLife+ Classic Truck Support. If you use them, the author says to install them before CarLife+. Version 1.04 (September 20, 2026) fixed the MAN TGX’s digital blind spot mirror. It’s optional in Convoy, but it doesn’t work on TruckersMP.

How to install it

  1. Open the mod's page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
  2. If you like, also subscribe to CarLife+ Dark Mode or CarLife+ Classic Truck Support.
  3. Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable CarLife+ (and any add-ons you use, in the order the author gives).
  4. In Options > Controls, bind a key to the infotainment screen mode.
  5. Get in a compatible truck and switch pages with that key.
